Acne Skin Care Treatment (Cleansing)

From the previous article, it was mentioned that diet can play a pivotal role in maintaining healthy skin. How do I know? Because it works for me and in the following articles, I will highlight some food that may aggravate your acne skin condition.

  • Acne Care By Cleansing

Besides caring for acne from inside your body, it is also important to keep the epidermis of the skin clean my removing any dirt and dust from the external environment. Acne care starts by washing your face with a mild exfoliating wash. In my opinion, choose facial scrubs with microbeads as they will remove dirt deep in the pores of your skin. Using warm water to wash is ideal because it opens up your pores, enabling it to be washed more effectively and allowing the facial scrub to get rid of those unwanted dirt and dust from your skin. Personally, I do not recommend any facial scrubs because the chemical content for scrubs is mostly the same. However if you do need recommendation, I personally am using Neutrogena.

Most cosmetic retailers would recommend a 3-step cleansing procedure. First, the scrub exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin from your skin. Next, they would recommend using a cleanser to get the cleaning done after the pores have opened. Lastly, a toner is effective in closing the pores. Cleansers can be used if you want to feel more assured. In reality, a scrub is more than effective to get the cleaning done. However, it is true that some of the cleansers on shelves in the supermarket do boast of extra nutrient for the skin, which is very much true.

Besides using scrubs, you may wish to consider using a toner after washing. Toners are especially effective for people with large pores because they generally act as good astringents. This reduces the amount of dust and dirt being trapped in your pores. Besides, most toners contain Bilberry extract to hydrate your skin, allowing your skin to stay hydrated through the night. Furthermore, most are rich with naturally found minerals that are beneficial for skin rejuvenation. They are easily found in supermarkets that sell a decent range of cosmetic products.

Remember that your body produces sebum to lubricate your pores and other bodily functions and it knows what its doing. Never wash your face more than twice a day. Firstly, the facial oil produced will be able to act as your first line of defense against those nasty bacteria and dust. Next, it is required to ensure your pores allow perspiration to be produced. Lastly, it is required for a glowing skin.
