Acne Skin Care for Teenagers

Before proceeding, let us first understand what causes acne to appear on the skin of teenagers. Most often, it appears during puberty when our body begins producing a little more hormone to stimulate greater growth in our body. Associated with it, our skin glands begin producing more sebum and our lack of attention to acne care results in our pores being clotted with dead skin and oil. This provides an excellent environment to bacteria to thrive in and acne too. Such skin infection that appears from beneath the epidermis is the reason why bumps appear first on our skin before acne makes it ugly show. If the acne is filled with lesion, it is called a cyst.

  • Acne Care through not scrubbing

When I was having my bad times of acne breakout, I always had the urge to scrub my face while washing with facial foam. I advise against doing so because it inevitably spread the infection and cause damage to your skin. Furthermore, in a moment of fury, you may unknowingly cause greater damage to your other healthy skin tissues. Leave acne as it is, allowing it to grow and gradually subside,

Teenagers will have the urge to squeeze the lesion in the acne out when they see one, because when they think they do not see the acne, acne is a passé and they no longer exist. True, however popping the pus-filled acne does not solve the underlying reason acne exist. It merely leaves scars on your face and after some time, acne will reappear itself again.

Appropriate acne skin care goes a long way in ensuring you lead a quality life there after. After teenage acne has ceased to plague us, we also do not want out face to be filled with scars and pokemarks.
